Big Take —
Sound Design

A tense 16mm short film in which two criminals, separately on the run, accidentally choose the same hiding spot — forced to stay silent while eavesdropping on the very people hunting them. Sound design crafted to amplify paranoia, proximity, and dread.

About the project
Big Take is a 16mm short film following two criminals — each fleeing separately — who unknowingly choose the same hiding spot. Forced into absolute stillness, they must listen as the very people hunting them close in from outside. The sound design work focused on recreating the suffocation of a confined space: suppressed breathing, footsteps resonating through walls, ambient sound tightening scene by scene. Detailed foley and spatially oriented audio mixing were used to turn every small sound into a threat.
